This car is a sports car incarnation of the legendary Jaguar E- Type and will be a formidable opponent for the Porsche Cayman. The name Jaguar C- X16 itself was pinned because this car is a project to 16 of Jaguar point director Ian Callum and will start his international debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. In the concept car that reportedly will soon be mass produced in the form of the coupe will use hybrid or dual engine systems. An engine capacity of 3.0 liter supercharged V6 will help produce fantastic potential for the machine.

Because of the machine which is derived from the 5.0- liter V8 engine that is in the XFR, XKR and XJ Super sport, the Jaguar C- X16 was claimed could produce potential boost to 375 bhp with a torque of 450Nm. The new 427 Convertible Collector Edition is powered by an LS7 engine that delivers a total of 505 HP and 470 lb. – ft of torque. It sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and can hit a top speed of 190 mph.

The LS7 was co- developed with the Corvette Le Mans- winning GT1 engine and features lightweight titanium connecting rods and intake valves as well as racing- inspired high- flow cylinder heads and a dry- sump oiling system. It is assembled by hand at GM’s Performance Build Center, where customers who purchase the 427 Convertible Collector Edition can purchase the Corvette Build Experience option and assemble the engine that will power their new car.

Supporting performance elements in the Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible include the driveline and rear axle system from the Corvette Z06, a rear- mounted battery and standard Magnetic Selective Ride Control. The standard 19- inch front and 20- inch rear wheels are wrapped in ZR1- style Michelin PS2 tires. Lightweight machine- face Cup wheels- introduced on the 2012 Corvette Z06 with Z07 and Corvette ZR1 with PDE performance packages- come standard and include unique gray- painted pockets. Black Cup wheels or chrome ZR1- style wheels are also available.

The developers of Hulme CanAm have announced plans to produce a limited- run of 20 units of the New Zealand- designed and built supercar, each priced at £295,000 (plus local taxes), equal to US$423,200 and €346,300 at today’s exchange rates. The 20 customer cars will be coach- built and equipped to customer order, with delivery commencing in the UK Autumn of 2011 and into 2012, the 20^th anniversary of Denny Hulme’s death.

2012 Corvette C7

The next generation Corvette C7 Stingray sports car launched in 2012 as 2013 model.

The estimated price for Corvette C7 Stingray is around $51,400 and could go up to $109,000.

2012 Morgan Sports Cars EvaGT

Morgan was one of the first car companies to see the advantage of a bonded aluminium chassis to give rigidity but also to save weight. The2012 Morgan Sport Car EvaGT uses a further developed version of the bonded aluminium chassis of the Morgan Aero SuperSports, a chassis that successfully competes in International GT3 Sports Car Racing. The Morgan Motor Company has been making new cars all along. Morgan used the unveiling of the EvaGT sports car to again commit to releasing a brand new model every two years, with new niche markets in mind. It says the EvaGT is a four-seater coupe with a bit of “automotive theatre” aimed at young sporting families, while it also has plans for “a fun weekend vehicle” and, most intriguingly, an “electric sports car”. 

The Morgan Motor Company is the last survivor of these British sports car manufacturers. Morgan sports car has a history of successful collaborations with German suppliers BMW, Siemens and Bosch. But Morgan also works with a number of young engineering companies in the United Kingdom and with world class British university research departments. 

The turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-six from the BMW 335i sits under the sculpted hood and produces a healthy 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels by either a six-speed automatic or six-speed manual. Morgan sports cars expects a scamper to 62 miles per hour to take 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 170 miles per hour. With its top speed at 170mph, Morgan sports cars Eva GT returns an impressive fuel economy of 40mpg UK, equals to 7.0lt/100km and 33.3mpg US, and has CO2 emissions of 200g/km.
